Job Description

Administrative and Research Assistant


Do you have a knack for Business Development and want to broaden your skillset in that area? LHH is partnered with a large global company to find an Administrative and Research Assistant for their Business Development department.


The Administrative and Research Assistant plays a vital role in providing support to the Business Development and General Administration departments to ensure the efficient operation of the branch office and facilitate its business activities. This position is responsible for a wide-range of tasks including research, report compilation, office administration, and general support functions.


Responsibilities:

  • Research and compile reports on research initiatives
  • Maintain vendor data
  • Perform other administrative duties as needed
  • Assist in drafting and compiling reports on branch office activities
  • Assist with visitors to the office and deliver white-gloved customer service
  • Monitor local and global news for business trends relevant to the branch office and company initiatives
  • Provide general administration support to ensure the smooth operation of the office and company residence
  • Update and revise office presentations for both internal and external use
  • Issue disbursements and reimbursements, and process expenses


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
  • Highly proficient in MS Office applications
  • Understanding of and ability to bridge the gap between Japanese and American culture, language, and business practices
  • Conversational proficiency in Japanese is a plus
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business highly preferred, Associates Degree required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required


Location: Seattle, WA

Pay Range: $28-35/HR

Hours: M-F 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm
