MS IN NUTRITION AND HUMAN PERFORMANCE

Online teaching assignments in all areas of nutrition, including but not limited to nutritional science and biochemistry, nutrition epidemiology, natural therapies, clinical nutrition, sustainable food systems, lifecycle nutrition, nutritional assessment of athletes, nutrition in pain and inflammation, nutrigenetics and nutrigenomics, and gut microbiome nutrition and behavior.

MS IN SPORTS SCIENCE AND REHABILITATION

Online teaching assignments in all areas of sports science and rehabilitation, including but not limited to anatomy of human motion, principles of physical therapy, exercise cardiorespiratory physiology, biomechanics, sports psychology, sports and emergency care, sports and exercise science, upper and lower extremity rehabilitation, and exercise testing and prescription.

MS IN HEALTH INFORMATICS

Online teaching assignments in all areas of health informatics, including but not limited to data management in healthcare, business and financial skills for health informatics professionals, introduction to health informatics, systems analysis and design, project management, legal and ethical issues in health informatics, leadership skills for health informatics professionals, foundations in healthcare, introduction to healthcare information technology, information systems management, and research methods in healthcare.

DOCTORATE OF HEALTH PROFESSIONS EDUCATION

Online teaching assignments in all areas of health professions education, including but not limited to statistics, issues in health professions education, learning principles, cognitive psychology and instruction, curriculum development and evaluation for health professionals, educational technology in the classroom, instructional design, and educational leadership.

BS DEGREES IN HUMAN BIOLOGY AND GENERAL EDUCATION

Online teaching assignments to include but not limited to cell biology, histology, human nutrition, mathematics, English/communications, social and behavioral sciences, fine arts and humanities, and integrated health courses

Qualifications

Qualifications: Must have a terminal degree at the doctoral level, except for the sports science/rehabilitation, health informatics, and bachelor-level programs, where a masters degree will be considered; a graduate degree or 18 credit hours of coursework in a related field of interest. Online teaching experience required.

Faculty Expectations: Faculty must support best practices in online education, including regular and substantive interaction between students and the instructor . Discussion boards or their equivalent are an established practice. Faculty are expected to share their professional expertise with students. Assessment using grading rubrics is required for all graded assignments. Faculty are expected to update their courses as needed.
