Within Chewy, the Chewy Health team is focused on redfining how vets and pet parents care for their pets, and are on a multi-year journey to reinvent the experience of working with your veterinarian to keep your pets happy and healthy.
As part of this mission, the Chewy Health Services team is hiring an AD, Healthcare Marketing to develop marketing strategy, plans and playbooks for a suite of services that enable a seamless omnichannel customer experience for pet parents to enagage with their vet across the full lifecycle of care. This position is a rare opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a team that seeks to reinvent how care is delivered in the pet health industry, and work in one of the most dynamic and innovative teams at Chewy.
This leader will own defining, implementing and managing the marketing strategy and initiative roadmap to engage pet parents (B2C) and veternarians (B2B) with the goal of connecting the contiumn of care and related needs. This role will lead consumer product marketing, B2B marketing on a national and local scale.
What You’ll Do
  • Collaborate with creative partners and marketing channel experts (CRM, paid digital, organic social etc) to conceive and develop impactful marketing campaigns and glean creative learnings to optimize.
  • Inform the development of product and solution requirements with marketing inferred and primary customer insights.
  • Collaborate with media strategy partners to ensure efficient use of media spend and appropriate creative development.
  • Identify, size and shape new opportunities to solve problems for vets and pet parents, and influence investment choices that will provide long-term innovation in the space
  • Leverage qualitiative and quantitiative insights (trackers, A&U studies product usage data, industry/consumer trends and competitive insights) to innovate and optimize full-funnel consumer marketing and B2B marketing.
  • Be the expert in the needs and value drivers of pet parents seeking care for their pets, as well as the needs and value drivers of the veterinarian and their staff who work in veterinary clinics
  • Communicate marketing strategy, calendar, and KPIs to key stakeholders across Chewy
  • Develop the marketing vision, strategy, and roadmaps to market the various aspects of the Connected Care experience
  • Engage with Corporate Brand Marketing to ensure Connected Care brings unique dimenions of our Brand to life and amplifies our master Brand positioning and values.
What You’ll Need
  • Inspirational leadership skills and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Proven track record of managing and executing large projects from start to finish, including project management, data gathering, identifying and mitigating development and implementation risks, problem solving and communicating recommendations
  • Demonstrated success building and scaling omni-channel user experiences in a retail, healthcare, hospitality or or consumer services business.
  • 12+ years of consumer marketing experience in a related field and discipline
  • 5+ years of B2B marketing experience
  • Demonstrated success in building a culture of experimentation, learning, and innovation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive
  • Track record of building high-performing product or engineering teams, including hiring, developing and retaining both managers and individuals
  • 8+ years of multi-platform (digital, physical, IRL) and omni-channel marketing
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
Bonus If You
  • In depth experience and understanding of the veterinary profession in the US
  • Experience with launching new technology products/services to veterinary clinics OR medical practices
  • Strong understanding of the overall pet care industry and recent trends
  • Experience in enterprise software solutions marketing
