HII Unmanned Systems is seeking an experienced professional to come join our team! You will manage all activities in the accounts payable function from Procurement to Payment.

  • Ensures timely processing of vendor invoices and expense vouchers and maintains accurate records and control reports.
  • Build relationships internally and externally
  • Manage Vendor Master
  • Ensures proper posting of Sales Use Tax
  • Prepares and maintains schedules and reconciliations of Prepaid and Accrual Accounts
  • Prepare and submit annual 1099s
  • Ensures accurate posting of expenses by routine review of accounts and posting detail
  • Participates in monthly close process
  • All other related duties as required
  • Prepares and reviews Purchase Order Accrual

What you will be doing...

Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports. Maintains or oversees the control of accounts and records in such areas as disbursements, expenses, tax payments, and income. Compiles and analyzes financial information to record transactions, prepare reports, and review and verify accuracy. Prepares balance sheet and profit and loss statements, consolidated financial statements, and other accounting schedules and reports. May design, modify, install, and/or maintain accounting systems to ensure an adequate recognition of financial transactions. Responsible for the adherence to and communication of accounting and auditing policies and procedures.

What we are looking for...

  • 6 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant progressive experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing environment, material costs in ERP system preferred.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain government clearance. #LI-MH1 *TL *EP *MV

Bonus points for...

  • Certified APM or PMP desired.
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills as well as an ability to think analytically.

Physical Requirements

Minimal mobility, dexterity, or coordination required to operate common business machines. Maximum lifting required is approximately 40 pounds from floor to three feet in height. Filing in an upright position.
