Job Posting Title
- Coordinate with the Accounting team on payment matters.
- Data entry and coding in grants database; uploading grant-related documentation.
- Track and monitor payments to subgrantees.
- Maintain and archive grant-related files.
- Support the preparation of reports for the Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES).
- Assist in monitoring expenditure responsibility and pass-through requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Run reports in the grant management software, as needed.
- Assist with the annual audit.
- Provide administrative support to the Grants Manager by helping to coordinate meetings and travel.
- Review payment request packets submitted by subgrantees for compliance to grant requirements, and ensure all packets are received in a timely manner.
- Participate in reviewing grant reporting for compliance and following up with subgrantees on any outstanding issues presented.
- Strong knowledge of and ability to use computer technology to accomplish work efficiently, using email, the Internet, data management software, and Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently on multiple tasks, prioritize, and work under pressure.
- Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and organizational skills. Ability to analyze and proofread documents with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to be consistently diplomatic, tactful, and professional, and to interact effectively with all levels of staff and external parties.
- Willingness and desire to take initiative.
- Effective time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Experience working with Federal Grants preferred.
- Experience with accounting or data management software required.
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Two years of related work experience (bookkeeping, technical accounting, clerical)
