Job Description

The Role

The Accounting Manager is responsible for supporting the Controller and Chief Financial Officer in managing and maintaining all accounting related needs, day-to-day bookkeeping functions, including financial reports, payroll, budgeting, invoicing and more. This position reports to the Controller.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and update of operating budgets/forecasts in excel
  • Assist with financial analysis
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements downloaded from NetSuite and reformatted in excel using advanced formulas
  • Record payroll related transactions
  • Administrative assistance
  • Monitor employee insurance carrier invoices vs. actual employee coverage
  • Other finance and accounting tasks that may be required
  • Assist in generating and issuing monthly invoices to customers (clinics)
  • Assist in tracking sales contracts and commissions accruals/payments
  • Record credit card transactions


Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of Accounting experience
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Excellent time management, highly organized, great attention to detail and the ability to work independently
  • Goes above and beyond to proactively help the team when needed
  • Experience with NetSuite is preferred
  • Expert in Excel and other Office products
