Accounts Payable


  • Perform regular follow-ups with vendors to ensure account is up to date and resolve any billing inquiries or discrepancies.
  • Sort, code, match, and enter bills into system
  • Review and verify vendor invoices for accuracy, completeness, proper authorization, and supporting documentation.
  • Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.


Accountant


  • Perform journal ledger entries
  • Prepare reports and support annual financial audits by external auditors
  • Maintain fixed asset listings and related depreciation expense
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Take the lead in preparing financial statements and reports, transforming numbers into a compelling financial story.
  • Perform ad hoc projects
  • Participate in the creation of financial strategies, showcasing your strategic financial vision.
  • Reconciliation of company general ledgers
  • Prepare and process month end accruals.


Qualifications


  • Able to work independently while adaptable, flexible, and personable to a dynamic team environment.
  • A passion for continuous learning and growth
  • Associate degree in accounting, finance, or related field or 2 years of direct experience in accounting
  • Must be hands-on and a team player
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with high attention to detail
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to identify process improvements.
  • Ability to think outside-the box and identify areas for improvement in processes
