Accountant - Kmg Prestige - Lansing, Mi

KMG Prestige is seeking an Accountant in Lansing, Michigan who is detail-oriented, enjoys new challenges, and is self-motivated. Property Accountants are responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports for a portfolio of properties as well as posting journal entries, cash management, processing month end closing reports, external reporting and more. The ideal candidate is an organized problem solver who works well with a team. This position will have the potential, after training is completed, to share their work hours between the office and working remotely from home.

What You Have

• Strong analytical skills
• Prior general ledger experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Ability to communicate effectively with a customer service mindset
• Experience with financial accounting software
• Strong accounting skills
• Ability to multitask
