Senior Accountant
Our client, located in Dexter, MI is looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to join their team on an interim/part-time basis. The ideal candidate can effectively and efficiently support a timely month-close process. International experience (UK) is highly desired. This is a fully remote opportunity!
The Day-to-day Responsibilities Will Include
  • Prepare reports and reconciliations for sales tax and other sales KPIs
  • Build analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
  • Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages, including tax package
  • Support and manage monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with US and UK GAAP
  • Prepare reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following skill sets:
  • Proficient in ERP systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent
  • Proven ability to communicate well with manager-level associates
  • Multi-currency experience highly desired
  • Competence with financial data analysis and report generation that is prompt and accurate
  • Self-starter with strong analytical skills, with the ability to exercise good judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
