We are seeking a Rental Accountant in Lansing, Michigan who is detail-oriented, enjoys new challenges, and is self-motivated. Property Accountants are responsible for agency reporting, processing move-ins and recertifications, sending out notices and monitoring resident accounts. The ideal candidate is an organized problem solver who works well with a team. This position will have the potential, after training is completed, to share their work hours between the office and working remotely from home.

You Have

• Strong analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to communicate effectively with a customer service mindset
• Ability to multitask
• Must have experience in at least one of the following: Rural Development, Section 8 or Tax Credit
