Accountant - Fixed Assets

About Our Client
International luxury goods and high-end fashion company

• Act as a sparring partner and center of knowledge for all asset-related topics within the company.
• Review assigned accounting topics to ensure compliance with accounting guidelines based on HQ procedures and IFRS updates.
• Collaborate closely with other accounting departments such as Lease Accounting and G/L.
• Oversee Jr Accountant
• Ensure accurate posting of assets in the fixed asset register in a timely manner.
• Report and explain monthly base depreciation deviations to management in a management reporting package.
• Prepare fixed asset roll forward for month-end, quarterly, and annual closing.
• Supervise and book annual impairments and write-ups.

The Successful Applicant

• Based in NYC area
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Legally authorized to work in the US
• Experience in Fixed Assets accounting.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
