Account Manager

Your Essential Responsibilities Include
As an Account Manager you will be responsible for the management of assigned Accounts within designated geography. In this role, the individual will take ownership to develop, execute and manage sales and profit growth budgets and strategies for assigned territory.
  • Responsible for creating annual customer budgets in collaboration with Director of Sales and Executive Management.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Responsible for the commercial development for designated geography including accountability for continuous achievement of sales and profit growth targets and execution of Chemsolv's short- and long-term goals, plans and strategies.
  • Monitor customer sales, profit, and volume performance against budget, investigate variances and implement corrective action(s) to ensure achievement, improve and maximize Sales and Profitability. Ability to understand profitability and identify and improve unprofitable products or business.
  • Collaboration with Credit and Finance to support and influence payment within approved terms.
  • Drive sales growth including a strong focus on pro-active sell price and margin management, opportunity pipeline development and management with high closure rates, proactive customer retention and new business development selling Chemsolv's full product portfolio, services, and capabilities throughout the territory.
  • Responsible for providing regular communication throughout the Chemsolv organization regarding strategies, opportunity development, RFQs, terms, etc.
  • Manage all other customer commercial requests, report competitive activity while building relationships throughout the customer base.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Strategic Growth Plans within existing territory.
  • Actively engage in customer sales calls and presentations with existing and prospective Accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and understand their needs, develop, and maintain in-depth, long-term relationships with key decision makers and influencers, and identify and drive closure of new opportunities to achieve growth targets

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field or equivalent experience
  • One to three years sales experience preferred.
  • Effective time & resource management, ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

  • Computer - CRM, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
  • Sales and Profit Analysis
