Wellness Programs Manager Jobs

We are looking for a Wellness Programs Manager - RN to join our HR team in the Human Resources Department! As a registered nurse managing the City’s wellness programs, you will work closely with the HR Director and Assistant CFO to establish goals and success metrics for the City’s wellness programs. We are looking for someone who is passionate about improving and maintaining the health of our diverse employee population.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Work with employees to identify and set personalized health improvement goals
• Support employees in achieving health goals through routine health screenings, knowledge assessments, and education.
• Make improvements to existing wellness programs based on data and experience.
• Provide wellness coaching on: diabetes, nutrition, heart health, stress management, mental health, tobacco cessation, physical fitness, and more.

• Valid state issued driver’s license.
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Excel, and Word or similar software.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.

• Health and wellness related experience such as nutrition and exercise.
• Demonstrated experience in health and wellness coaching.

• May require evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• In the event of major storms or other emergency situations, this position may be subject to 24-hour shifts or any other emergency schedule that is necessary to meet the City’s needs.
