- Manage existing customer accounts by ensuring that existing customers remain satisfied with company products and services
- Utilize a consultative approach, discuss business issues with prospects, and develop a formal quote, a written sales proposal, or a formal sales presentation addressing their business needs
- Solve problems for accounts by understanding and exceeding expectations, illustrating the value of products and services to create growth opportunities
- Ensure pipeline accuracy based on evidence and accurate data
- Provide customer needs and product feedback to product managers and technical support staff
- Manage customer activity with CRM tools for maximum efficiency and visibility, with carefully executed follow-up to closure on open issues
- Document the buying criteria and process, and identify key decision-makers
- Build and strengthen the business relationship with current accounts and develop new prospects through cold calling and networking
- Ability to stay current with product offerings and industry trends
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with clients and partners by understanding their focus and anticipating their needs, and act as the primary point of contact for multiple accounts
- Develop and implement effective account plans to retain existing customers
- Passion about business and dissatisfaction with status quo, always thinking of ways to improve/grow assigned clients
- Dynamic personality able to effectively engage and influence a variety of audiences at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and remain motivated
- Ability to be in the Alpharetta office 3-4 days per week
- Business acumen, sound decision-making, analytical and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment; a consultative approach to managing complex client relationships
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to travel up to 40% to meet with clients and prospects
- Experience selling to large organizations within complicated domains
- 2 - 5 years of experience with SaaS software sales as an Account Manager
- Proficiency with CRM software and an aptitude for learning new systems
- A focus on relationships, able to gain trust through communication, expectation setting, and completion of planned deliverables
- Confident communication (written and oral) skills and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all levels of internal and external organizations
