Flexibility with schedule is a plus.

Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office and Outlook. EMR knowledge preferred.

3 years of office experience preferred. One year medical office experience preferred.

Knowledge of medical terminology, HMO, PPO, medical insurance industry and general clerical procedures.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Follows office policies, procedures, and protocols as appropriate.

Communicates effectively with other staff members.

At least one (1) year experience in a healthcare setting or equivalent as a combination of education and experience.

High School education or equivalent

Implement physical or occupational therapy programs established by the PT, OT, or PTA

Obtain data related to the interventions provided

Experience working in a health plan medical management documentation system a plus

Identifies and refers members to the appropriate healthcare program (e.g. case management, disease management).

2 years managed care experience in UM/CM Department, preferred
