Candidate must have 15+ years’ experience in account management.

Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Five or more years of professional health education experience in the higher education setting.

In-depth knowledge of, and/or experience with, the collective impact framework.

Experience coordinating a collegiate peer health education program.

Most relevant disciplines include public health, health promotion, health education, higher education leadership and/or student development, counseling, and social work.

Experience coordinating broad-based holistic campus health initiatives (e.g., Healthy Campus initiatives or similar).

Demonstrate excellence in social media management, including community management, editorial calendars and metrics reporting.

Proficiency in MSOffice, Google Analytics, social media monitoring/analysis tools (e.g. Brandwatch or similar), and social management platforms such as Hootsuite.

Manage digital and social strategy and initiatives on behalf of health & wellness brands.

Demonstrated knowledge of the health & wellness industry and its regulatory environment.

Experience managing social media platforms or communities and working with digital influencers.

A blend of strong writing and analytical skills, with an ability to translate research and data into insights.

Host health educational training and learning activities. 

Work direction will be provided primarily by the Senior Health Promotion Specialist and Account Manager responsible for the client's program. 

Ability to manage multi-site wellness campaigns.

Strong program planning and marketing skills.

Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills (verbal and written).

Special interest in physical fitness, with teaching certifications preferred.

5+ years of performance management, leadership and cross-functional leadership experience

10+ years of experience in marketing or advertising sales

4+ years of digital media experience including examples of testing, validating emerging opportunities and media networks

3+ years of experience in Retail Media Networks

Experience in brand advertising (for example, TV or video, sponsorship), media sales, customer acquisition and growth, search, mobile and online sales

Experience with retail media or retail/ecommerce agency experience

Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with team and client management counterparts.

Requires at least 10 years’ experience in marketing or communications

Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and consistently adds value.

Annual salary range: $150,000 - $175,000 commensurate with experience

Is comfortable with data—can dig and tell a story in several ways. Asks the right probing questions.

Communicates account’s objectives and strategies to team members and the role they play in achieving them.

Attend appropriate and needed training offered by the YMCA of Greater San Antonio.

Strong relationship driven personality with strong social and communication skills. Must be an expert in providing great member service.

Excellent interpersonal, public relations and written communication skills are required. Must also be comfortable with oral presentations.

Employee must have working knowledge of a Mac environment, Gmail, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Certifications required within the first week of hire: Redwoods Bloodborne Pathogens, Defensive Driving, and Hazardous Communications

Experience developing, implementing and coordinating nutrition education or healthy eating programs.

Based on needs assessments, develop goals for integrated health education and promotion programs.

Document health education services, program needs, goals, design, implementation and evaluation in standard applications including Microsoft Office, Org Sync, and Qualtrics.

Prepare grant applications to support SF State health education and promotion programs.

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist certification as defined by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

Experience engaging a remote and diverse workforce preferred.

CPR/AED certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association or American Safety & Health Institute required within 90 days of hire.

Two+ years of industry experience; including 1+ years’ experience in delivery of corporate-based wellness and/or fitness programs required.

Demonstrated experience in the areas of program development and implementation, data collection and analysis and outcomes reporting.

Coordinate and/or assist in planning wellness sponsored events through collaboration with HealthFitness internal partners as well as third party vendors.

Create monthly content for existing standard communications. (Programs, challenges, series, on-site events as well as newsletters, articles, recipes, health observances, etc.).
