Assists the Life Enrichment Coordinator to plan, organize, develop, implement and direct the activity program for residents in the facility.

Knowledge of principles and practices of Residents’ needs

1-3 years of administrative experience required

Experience and success working in partnership with local residents and community organizations

Knowledge of budgeting and financial statements

Strong knowledge of computers and fundamental technology (i.e., iPad, e-learning software, etc.)

Manages Confidential Health Form and vaccination records and creates Goshen Family physician patient account for each student

Knowledge of confidentiality requirements for higher education (College policy, FERPA, etc.).

Three years teaching (K-12) and/or three to five years program management experience (youth enrichment or academic programming preferred.)

At least 3 year management experience.

Maintain clear and consistent communications with enrichment manager and specialized instructors

Manage payment of vendors and independent contractors as well as approve and manage timekeeping for enrichment staff

Develop and manage clear communications pipeline between arc and specialized instructors

Provide a physically and emotionally safe and supportive environment for education, cooperation, and fun

Develop and implement a student life curriculum and activities to include instructional goals, educational programming, and recreational events.

Applicant must be able to identify, develop, and implement programs and activities that will benefit the campus community.

Collect, maintain and disseminate student data to identify challenges and develop intervention strategies and action plans to ensure student success.

Ensure students' health and wellness needs are met by developing and implementing student care plans in conjunction with campus colleagues.

Participate in meetings, committees, programs and other activities. Review the conditions of residential life facilities, equipment and supplies.

Participate in orientation activities for new students, as well as check-in and check-out for all residence hall occupants and room inventories.

Minimum of 3-5 years' experience with the aging/ chronically ill /Individuals with disabilities population.

Education of client, caregiver regarding available care options and innovative technologies

Manage time efficiently and bill accordingly.

Knowledge of Health care delivery systems

Knowledge of insurance programs and community services

Previous experience working in Memory Care preferred.

Responsibilities Of The Residential Life Coordinator

Applicant must be able to identify, develop, and implement programs and activities that will

Must be able to supervise and evaluate personnel.

Must be able to hear, speak audibly, walk, and lift up to 50lbs.

Must possess a valid driver's license.

Must be able to work variable hours and shifts, including 2-3 weekends per month.

Degree in TRS, COTA, Music Therapy, closely related field, or equivalent experience preferred, but not required. We will train you!
