Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

Approximate Duration: June through August

Hours: 2-5 days/week or 16-40 hours/week (can accommodate school schedule)

Supporting project 2D staff with exhibit graphic design development

Contributing to exhibit visual identity development

Strong client service, self-motivation and time management skills required.

Possess superior file management and organizational methodology, following department guidelines

Rhinoceros 3D - Strong knowledge of this programs is essential

Strong conceptual abilities (developing ideas/concepts individually and as part of a team)

Highly collaborative designer who will work closely with senior spatial designers & creative director

Designs for prospective client’s Request for Proposal responses and Live Projects

Associates Degree in web design, graphic design, or similar. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered

Suggest new template ideas, elements and customer experiences.

1+ years of related experience working with digital assets for either web or graphic/print production

Extensive knowledge of Adobe Photoshop

Graphic design experience a plus

Proficient knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, MS Suite

• Social media platform management (primarily LinkedIn)

• Brainstorm strategy and new creative ideas for content and campaigns

• Build comprehensive, multi-touch digital campaignsthat span social, email, content, and direct channels

• Research and assist in creating and sourcing content for social media platforms

• Assist in copywriting for social media and newsletters

• Influencer research and sponsorship opportunities

Required Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

Typical schedule includes generally less than 25 hours per week with other schedule considerations subject to management approval

Utilize Valmont’s learning management system and provide technical support to end-users

Interest in Learning Management Systems (LMS, i.e. Cornerstone)

This position reports to the Manager Global Learning, has no direct reports and will often collaborate other team members

Experience with: multi-media creation, e-Learning development, or LMS administration

Familiarity with project management software.

2-3 years of related experience with strong design/creative background; experience in creating for

UX/UI mindset/experience and focus on mobile design a plus.

Sharp design intuition, excellent typography skills, and unwavering attention to detail.

Strong knowledge of digital best practices and channel formats (i.e. Instagram stories vs. display banners)

Ability to track, manage, prioritize, and anticipate workload and communicate proactively to Senior Digital Designer and Creative Ops (Project Manager).

Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (show us your skills, send work when applying for extra points)

Assist and support Head Designer in creating innovative styles (designing)

Keep up to date with the current and the latest fashion trends (innovation)

Document and preserve all illustrations, detailed layouts, design works and sheets for future reference (organization)

Any CAD creation and update including buyer CAD, development CAD, drop date CAD, & collection CAD (sketching)

Creative Team Management and Oversight

Must be highly creative, have a flexible attitude, ability to manage a team and demonstrate strong communication skills

Work closely with the Creative team to bring digital experiences to life - leveraging a consumer centric mindset

Develop creative strategies, experiences, and storytelling through a brand-right, digital first lens

Able to successfully organize and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment with superior detail to attention

Strong cross-functional team facilitation skills

Collaborate with the social media manager to create social assets: page posts, Instagram stories, animations/gifs.

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience, specifically in digital design; experience in luxury, fashion, and retail brands preferred.

Strong typography skills are a must.

Experience with online media, social networks, and digital trends.

HTML and CSS experience is a plus.

Concept and design assets for 360 campaigns, including emails, ads, social content, blog posts, promotional content, etc.

Experience or knowledge of AutoCAD

Assist with model home installs

Create design boards & mood boards

Eye for design and colors

Background in interior design or architecture

Under the guidance of senior research staff, the Experience Design Research Intern will:

Contribute to meaningful results at each stage of the research process (e.g., research plans, interview guides, journey maps, personas, reports).

Business, technology, or engineering student pursuing a Bachelor level education (at least in 3rd year) required

Interns in this role can expect to be paid $15-$18 an hour, dependent on qualifications and level.

The experience we are looking for

Develop test plans and procedures to ensure the developed product meets the specified requirements.

At least 3 years of relevant experience

Experience with FPGA design using the latest generation Xilinx or Intel chipsets

Experience using design systems and designing based on inputs from data, product and research

Create digital design systems, design templates and component libraries

Make design decisions with deep understanding of the customer persona, business goals, qualitative and quantitative data.

Collaborate closely with marketing team members, stakeholders, and engineers to create concepts that meet their goals and expectations
