The Fall 2023 Internship program will begin on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 and will run until Friday, December 15, 2023.

Office hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Interns will be required to work from our NYC office located at 275 7th Avenue NY, NY 10001.

Should have intermediate working knowledge and abilities with Google G-Suite.

Intermediate working knowledge and abilities with Excel is preferred for every internship.

Internal employee in good standing from our Retail Stores (including store managers), Distribution Center, and Customer Care

No education required, but a Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Obtained or pursuing a degree in Fashion Merchandising, Apparel Merchandising, Buying or Buying/Merchandising related field experience

Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills

Previous internship or comparable experience in a related field

Experience using Adobe Audition audio editing software or similar DAW

Demonstrated high organization and communication skills

Highly proficient in MS Word and MS Excel; knowledge of other Office365 tools

This internship is a remote position– Requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace

Brainstorm segment ideas for our politics podcast

Help prep segments that we are doing, including research, question docs, and more

Documentary or original reporting work for standalone episodes, which would include archival research, cutting tape and scripting

Manage/deploy container clusters and workloads on AWS. QUALIFICATIONS:

Good communication (verbal and written) skills.

Knowledge of Docker containers and basic AWS cloud computing.

Experience of databases and machine learning libraries.

Preliminary knowledge of DevOps processes and practices like continuous integration and continuous deployment.

Collaborate with machine learning engineers and data scientists to build data pipelines and enable the development of new ML models.

Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

Strong typographic and conceptual design skills

Knowledge of Premiere Pro, After Effects a plus

Photography and photo editing experience preferred but not required

Assist lead designer in creation and execution of print and digital collateral

Edit photos and videos for social media

Some experience in Google Suite, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator

Excellent written and oral communication and strong interpersonal skills

Work with our Video Graphics designers and assist them in the ideation and execution of graphic needs for our video content

Design and composite assets in Photoshop

Design compelling thumbnails for digital platforms in the Mythical voice

Source, organize, and label graphics assets & projects

Strong written and oral communication skills

Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities

Complete assigned projects and tasks related to specific technology initiatives

Partner with associates on various projects to implement technical and corporate strategies

Maintain and follow operational procedures and processes

Participate in weekly/monthly department meetings

Shadow and work closely with our VP of Finance and Senior Operations Manager, learning about day-to-day tasks and responsibilities.

Learn from the VP of Finance and Sr. Operations Manager, and contribute to ad hoc accounting and finance tasks as assigned.

Experience with finance and accounting tools such as QuickBooks Online and Stripe.

Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
