Position: Public Relations Internship:

LaFORCE is an independent marketing communications agency representing top brands in fashion and retail, consumer packaged goods, wines and spirits, food, travel and hospitality, sportswear/ athletics, luxury, consumer technology and beauty/ wellness. We offer services in public relations, digital + social media, influencer marketing, and brand partnerships.

We are seeking self-motivated, hard-working and enthusiastic candidates to join our internship program who will gain invaluable experience and practical industry knowledge.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: media monitoring, assisting with press clippings, updating contact lists, research projects, qualifying media lists and assisting with product requests/samples. Interns may also engage in departmental creative/ brainstorming sessions, help in the planning process of events (if applicable), as well as other relevant tasks depending on team assignments.

• Interns will be required to work from our NYC office located at 275 7th Avenue NY, NY 10001.
• Interns will gain hands-on experience and will be paid an hourly rate of $16/hr.
• Office hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• The internship is open to college students and college graduates. All interns must be able to commit at least 2 ½ days.
• The Fall 2023 Internship program will begin on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 and will run until Friday, December 15, 2023.

Qualifications:

• Applicants should be comfortable speaking on the phone and interacting with industry professionals
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Superior multitasking and time-management skills
