Control Valve Technician I Jobs

Intermediate and/or Depot level component experience

A Demonstrated high-level problem of solving skills working in a team equipment

Experience with Cryogenic Systems; operation, safety and hardware; Pressure Vessels, Tubing, Fittings and Regulators

Experience with CAD systems for review and interpretation of 3-D models

Integration, test, functional verification, and troubleshooting of hydraulic and pneumatically actuated cryogenic valves, systems and components

Assist engineers in reviewing and developing design concepts, tooling, test hardware and providing feedback for improvements

Education preferred: high school diploma or GED equivalent.

Minimum 3- 5 years of experience.

Pressure Relief Valve Manufacturers Training Courses and/or certifications, National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors training course preferred.

Knowledge of Trevitest, EVT, AVK, or other in-line test equipment preferred.

Solid working knowledge of the ASME and NBIC codes.

0 to 30% minimum travel requirement.

Basic knowledge in current Business Management Systems and help in entering employee job time as needed

Must possess a general working knowledge of hand, power, and pneumatic tools.

Must have basic problem solving skills.

Must have basic math skills.

Must have basic computer skills.

Five (5) plus years’ experience as a Valve Tech in the oil & natural gas industry or oil & gas exploration

Under minimal supervision performs all responsibilities as a multi-skilled individual in an empowered work team.

Maintains qualification on test methods. Performs package inspection for quality specifications.

Any other projects or responsibilities assigned by supervisor.

Assists in process monitoring, identifying and recording any product quality problems.

Measures the parameters of the product interpreting, and ensuring conformance to the specification limits.

Performs audits of process and finished goods. Communicate all deviations.

Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills

Courteous interaction and communication with inside and outside sales, management and warehouse personnel

Acting as Production Manager responsible for assembly of all automated packages.

3 to 5 years experience is preferred but not required

Knowledge of shipping, receiving and inventory control

Follow all proper procedures for set up, use and maintenance of tools and equipment in the Automation center.

Experience in related field preferred, with knowledge and experience with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

Help maintain laboratory inventory of chemicals, reagents, consumables, and willing to share laboratory cleaning and safety responsibilities.

Follows detailed protocols and uses knowledge of basic laboratory procedures.

Willingness and demonstrated ability to learn and develop instrument-related skills.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Associate's or bachelor's degree in scientific field preferred.

Background in molecular biology is preferred with single/multichannel pipetting and PCR experience

11. Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.

2. Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the Access Control field.

3. Installs, services, and repairs various types of locks, keys, and core devices.

4. Cuts new or duplicates keys, stamps with identification, replaces and re-keys locks as necessary.

5. Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade.

6. Ensures that all locks, keys, and cores are in adequate working condition.

Assists Valve technician as needed

Identify and use basic hand tools

Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as by self without direct supervision

Candidate must within a 45 min from the shop

At least High School Grad or GED.

Ability to work overtime and holidays as needed and must be available for call outs as required.

Good interpersonal skills for daily interaction with customers and fellow employees.

Operational experience in the oil and gas industry with respect to system operations, prime movers and associated valves.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose systemic problems.

Willing to be trained in skills other than the primary skill.

The ideal candidate should have strong skills in the following:

Perform machining and other support operations on individual components of valves, pumps, turbines, and other industrial equipment utilizing various manual machines.

Demonstrate effective time management skills

HS Education or GED Equivalent

1 year of industry experience

Some prior control valve experience

Demonstrated mechanical skills, basic mathematical skills, and ability to use measurement equipment
