Control Valve Technician I Jobs

Experience using ISO 9001 quality management system auditing

Familiarity with quality management tools (control chart, FTA, FMEA, etc.) and MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Practical experience with materials analysis, testing, and chemical analysis equipment.

Extensive data analysis experience such as statistical process control of production data

Experience in defect reduction of high-volume manufacturing products

Conducting and implementing quality control systems for Li-ion battery manufacturing processes.

Ability to demonstrate support the company’s environmental management system.

Four (4) years of experience working on valves.

Strong valve troubleshooting skillset in the field.

Must be able to self-manage and effectively work in a group setting.

Knowledge of principles of lubrication

Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously

SAP or Quality Management System experience

Follow and commit to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service requirements.

Develop knowledge of processes, equipment, materials, and products.

Six (6) months of experience inspecting and performing quality checks or;

Math skills to include simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

Follow practices and processes intended to provide safe products that comply with appropriate laws and regulations, meet the company quality standards.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

3-5 years’ experience. Typical Training/Experience

Has knowledge and understanding of motor control circuits and control systems

Has experience using overhead cranes, fork lifts, hand tooling

Builds, tests, troubleshoots, repairs and modifies valves, parts, components, and automated valve assemblies.

Tests and documents manual and automated valves.

Maintains qualification on test methods.

Any other projects or responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.

A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.

0 to 2 years of related relevant work experience is required.

Assists in process monitoring, identifying, and recording any product quality problems.

Measures the parameters of the product interpreting and ensuring conformance to the specification limits.

SAP or Quality Management System experience

A working knowledge of process controls.

Strong knowledge of valve actuators

Verbal and written skills to effectively communicate.

HS Diploma or GED required. Specialized skills training/certification may be required.
