Overview Child Support Analysts are responsible for ensuring that families receive the financial support they need to provide for their children. They work with parents, employers, and government agencies to ensure that child support payments are made on time and in full. They also provide guidance and assistance to families in understanding their rights and responsibilities under the law. Detailed Job Description Child Support Analysts are responsible for managing and administering child support cases. This includes working with parents, employers, and government agencies to ensure that child support payments are made on time and in full. They must also provide guidance and assistance to families in understanding their rights and responsibilities under the law. They must be able to interpret and apply state and federal laws and regulations related to child support. They must also be able to investigate and resolve cases involving non-payment or underpayment of child support. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations related to child support
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interpret and apply laws and regulations
• Ability to investigate and resolve cases
• Ability to work with a variety of people

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field
• At least two years of experience in a related field
• Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations related to child support
• Ability to interpret and apply laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations related to child support
• Knowledge of family dynamics and dynamics of child support cases
• Knowledge of investigative techniques and procedures
• Knowledge of computer systems and software related to child support
Job Experience
• At least two years of experience in a related field
• Experience working with families and children
• Experience working with employers and government agencies
• Experience in investigative techniques and procedures
