Position:** Entry-level Remote Data Entry Clerk - Typist

Supervise and mentor a team of remote entry-level data entry specialists.

Proven experience in data entry or a similar role, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.

Prior remote work experience is preferred.

Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data entry tasks.

Troubleshoot and resolve data entry issues and discrepancies.

Fire Inspector-LSU Office of Academic Affairs Firefighter & Emergency Responder certification or recognized equivalent by the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress

Life Safety Code Specialist certification from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services

NICET 1 (National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies) in fire alarm or fire sprinkler or special hazards

Certified Building Official-International Code Council or any current building inspector certification accepted by the State Fire Marshal's Office

A baccalaureate degree in other fields will substitute for three years of the required experience.

Other associate degrees will substitute for one year of the required experience.

Have a working knowledge of the scheduling, material control and unit manhour performance, estimating fundamentals and job cost management systems.

Maintain accurate reporting records including job quantities, productivity rates, time sheets and daily management reports.

Ability to demonstrate thorough knowledge and skill to perform all essential functions of craft workers under his/her supervision.

Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with craft workers under his/her supervision and management/supervision.

Able to meet all physical requirements.

Plan, coordinate and organize people, equipment, tools and materials to promote the safe, efficient and timely construction of the project.

Setting up and rigging large-scale heavy equipment.

Position, align, or level machines, equipment, and or structures.

Set-up, troubleshoot and operate welding machines according to job specifications and welding procedures

Preheat and weld metal components as specified by blue prints, welding symbols, job specifications, or welding procedures.

Weld various processes FCAW-S, FCAW-G, TGAW, GMAW, SMAW, and SAW

Must possess strong working knowledge skills and abilities for position.

Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.

Able to meet all physical requirements.

Reads specifications or blueprints to determine the locations, quantities, or sizes of material required.

Fabricates metal parts, such as steel frames, columns, beams, or girders, according to blueprints or instructions from supervisors.

Verifies vertical and horizontal alignment of structural steel members, using plumb bobs, laser equipment, transits, or levels.
