This vacancy is located in the Health Information Department of Eastern Louisiana Mental Health System in Jackson, LA (East Feliciana Parish).

Differs from a Health Information Processor 2 by the performance of entry level tasks.


Examples of Work


Reviews, classifies, and maintains health care records by updating patient files, filing, compiling statistics, and identifying and correcting record errors on reports.


Maintains case abstracts in computerized records system and enters changes in patient file data.


Retrieves patient records upon request and maintains sign-out file for records removed from department.


Input data into computerized health information system.
