Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

Excellent communication, planning, organizational, and analytical skills are required.

Lead student advising efforts in the department and ensure that faculty members are current on advising policies and procedures.

Assign faculty mentors to students, submit and monitor course substitution paperwork and similar forms.

Perform departmental degree audits for assigned undergraduate students within 30 hours of graduating.

Report to QC Lab Supervisor or Quality Laboratory Manager any visual defect found.

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to the following:

Put newly collected samples that require specific storage conditions in a designated area for a specified period.

Perform a visual inspection of all collected QC samples.

Verify the calibration status of all equipment & tools to use for measuring quality characteristics.

Performs bedside palliative care with patient/family education.

Subject to after hours and weekend on-call requirements per the needs of the organization.

Provides training and ongoing education and onboarding support for staff.

Minimum of five (5) years nursing experience required; clinical nursing care in oncology, hospice, geriatrics, intensive care preferred.

Maintain active DEA certification if state allows prescription of controlled substances by APPs.

Board Certification in Hospice and Palliative Care is preferred, but not required.
