Youth Program Coordinator Key Responsibilities

Motivation sessions: Encouraging students to advance in their academic apps and achieve their learning goals

Pushing kids to the point of burnout or disengagement.

Excellent judgment and critical thinking skills: you can assess numerous inputs, weigh tradeoffs, manage ambiguity, and make difficult decisions

Experience partnering with cross functional teams, such as Operations, Legal, Product, and Public Policy and external youth safety experts

A stellar communicator who has strong writing skills and great verbal communication

Partner with our Operations team to implement our child safety policies

Advise Product teams on youth safety-related features and products

You have experience as a camp counselor, athletic coach, or similar non-teaching role

Experience performing at an elite level (Division 1 sports, Presidential Scholar, etc.)

Associate’s or Equivalent Education. (GED/High School Diploma with one-year transferrable program/functional experience may substitute).

Responsible for overseeing and coordinating division programs.

Monitors vendor contracts and internal purchasing functions to ensure compliance with County regulations.

Provides day-to-day supervision of employees and on-call professionals.

Trains new employees to perform all duties in a consistent manner with adopted and/or established policies and procedures.

Prepares, reviews and approves purchasing documentation such as credit cards, delivery orders, receivers, and change orders.

Relevant experience in education, social work, non-profit or a related field; Volunteer experience will be considered.

Design, plan, create and post monthly calendars and flyers to advertise activities and program offerings on-site.

Experience with children, teens, adults and/or senior citizens in various capacities.

Provide a welcoming and inviting atmosphere to all residents.

Recruit skilled volunteers, community members, and professional speakers to support youth programs as mentors and presenters

Complete administrative responsibilities including tracking time and effort, annual development of professional goals, and the 90 day onboarding plan
