Youth Football Seasonal Associate Jobs

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Maintain knowledge of rules and control game safety of coaches and parents, while teaching the game to participants.

Perform officiating and related duties as assigned.

Dress in proper referee attire as instructed by supervisor and provide other items needed to perform the job.

Assist in safety of the participants.

Will report any damages or breakage of equipment to Supervisor.

Football playing, coaching, or officiating experience.

CPR, First Aid, and AED certification required within 60 days of hire.

Work Environment And Physical Requirements

Communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.

Develop and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with staff and the public.

Prepare gym/field for play by setting up any necessary equipment and inspect the site to ensure participant safety.

Use coaching techniques appropriate (based on age) for all of the skills that are taught.

Ensure an exceptional learning experience.

Thorough knowledge and understanding of the game of football

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Strong level of patience and adaptability when dealing with players of different skill level and when talking with parents

Place the emotional and physical well-being of the players ahead of a personal desire to win.

Employment contingent upon proof of education if not provided at time of application.

Ability to complete all Department of the Navy (DoN) training requirements within the specified timeframe.

Ability to implement developmentally appropriate principles and practices to provide high-quality direct care and education and development.

Six (6) months of experience working with children or youth in a child and youth setting.

Skill to promote and foster effective working relationships with children, youth, and coworkers.

Skill to work cooperatively as a member of a team.

Assist in management and maintenance of video database

Upload, edit, and manage video on XOS Thunder and Hudl

Manage game day filming of second varsity team

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Playing, coaching or managing experience preferred

Requires a background check upon offer

Plan and execute activities in a variety of settings including but not limited to gym, outdoors, STEAM, Education, and SEAL.

Additional responsibilities may include meeting with other employees, inventory of materials, cleaning program areas, and participating in professional development trainings.
