2-3 hours of relationship management including correspondence, data entry or general administration

Demonstrated excellent English verbal and written communication skills

Outstanding organizational, problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills

Ability to effectively manage time to meet deadlines and work professionally under pressure

Ability to be a self-starter and work in a remote environment

Some publishing or general office experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to multitask and manage multiple assignments in a deadline-driven environment

Ability to manage multiple short- and long-term projects simultaneously

Reading knowledge of a foreign language a plus

Providing administrative support to the Publisher and an Executive Editor

Detail-oriented and organized with strong communication and time-management skills;

The incumbent may be asked to perform additional duties and take on other responsibilities as dictated by events and circumstances.

At least 2 years of professional experience in journalism and/or communications;

Demonstrated skills in content creation for digital channels (social, web, etc.);

Knowledge of or interest in work-family justice or family-centered economic policies a plus; and

Managing, maintaining, and regularly updating BLL content on New America’s website.

Cover letter must include a personal introduction, and days/times available during internship period.

Preferred Junior or Senior-level standing

Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program by arrival date

Junior, Senior Undergraduate Program student status by arrival date is preferred

Must be at least 18 years of age

Excellent outreach/research skills in order to identify and select the best content for the publications/websites/social channels.

Exceptional written, communication, and listening skills in order to communicate with publishers, outside contributors and in-house editors.

Interest in and knowledge of consumer electronics a plus.

This position is fully remote!

Write and build 2-3 posts daily for the website on industry news yourself, including sponsored posts/partners voice

Fluency in Wordpress or equivalent CMS platform

Upon completion of procedural support learning protocol, will provide support and facilitate optimal coping skills for patients during treatments and procedures.

Demonstrates business practices and personal actions that are ethical and adhere to corporate compliance and integrity guidelines.

Assists in maintaining the Child Life playroom, providing a therapeutic and safe environment for individuals and groups.

Assists patients in coping with the stress of hospitalization, illness, death and/or loss.
