Workforce Development Field Coordinator I Jobs

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Related Experience

Experience with ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) and familiarity with FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act is preferred.

Manages a caseload of open accommodation requests, with guidance and oversight.

Responsible for engaging employees, medical professionals, supervisors, and HR Business Partners to assist employees with disabilities who require workplace accommodations.

Develops an understanding and working knowledge of both State and Federal laws and regulations surrounding the ADA and other relevant legislation

Sound facilitation skills are required.

Coordinate the development and implementation of adult education and skills training programs for workers under the auspices of joint labor-management committees

Maintain and coordinate Training and Employment Committee meetings with labor-management

Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling or equivalent years of experience required

Minimum three (3) experience handling workforce development or education required

Knowledge of higher education/workforce development, career and education advisement, and group facilitation required

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products with specific experience using MS Excel
