Manages all UAB enterprise content management systems (CMS).

Maintains user permissions list for all UAB enterprise content management systems.

Manages integrated 3rd party systems, APIs into UAB’s Content Management Systems.

Facilitates proper code organization and management throughout the team.

Oversees web training and support for all UAB enterprise content management systems by creating and distributing training materials using the LMS.

Translates mockups and prototypes from UX team into functional web elements within UAB’s content management systems.

5+ years of website design experience

Skills with Photoshop, Adobe XD, and Sketch are a plus

Motion design experience a plus

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience).

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically to resolve complex technical issues.

Strong knowledge of Back-End Web Development, Front-End Development, Web Development, Programming, and Web Design

Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Knowledge of SEO best practices

Familiarity with web frameworks such as React, Angular, and Vue

Leverage product and development knowledge to support feature design and development within a scrum team

Engage with User Experience Designer to solidify workflows and designs

Engage with User Experience Researcher to define and review results of customer feedback sessions

Experience with JavaScript-based client-side web frameworks like React or angular.js and/or server-side scripting language such as PHP, Python, or Ruby

Strong knowledge of standards-based development with HTML5, CSS3, Ajax, JavaScript

Strong knowledge of best practices and modern web design trends

Minimum of 2 years of experience in UI/UX Design, with a portfolio demonstrating your work.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Knowledge in graphic design is highly appreciated.

Collaborate with our team to design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for our mobile app and website.

Create wireframes, user flows, process flows and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas.

Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to optimize our design.

Experience working with Content Management Systems such as WordPress and Drupal

Knowledge and practical experience with HTML5 and CSS3

Understanding of client-side build/config management

Driven, detail-oriented front-end developer with relevant experience as a web developer, UI developer, or front-end engineer to join our growing team

Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience

Maintain updated knowledge of the development industry and any advancements in technology

• Knowledge in source code management tools, such as GitHub

• 2+ years of web development experience

• Demonstrated experience creating responsive full-stack web application interface per design guidelines and information architecture
