Position Summary:

We are currently interviewing candidates who wish to apply for our prestigious Web Developer Internship. The selected interns will be working with other top engineers and our product team on web applications. You will combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include the creation of web design layouts and the translation of the UI/UX design wireframes and mockups to actual code that will produce visual elements of websites and applications. You will work to balance marketing goals, client requests, performance considerations and usability into their finished products. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our CTO and CEO on the development and functionality of the himylink web applications.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all design elements and finished solutions work within a variety of browser types and screen settings along with the constraints set by development and design (responsive web design).

• Work with Product Team to develop HTML/CSS/JavaScript code to build web applications and web pages

• Work with cross-functional teams to develop web applications from collected functional requirements and technical requirements, as well as UI/UX

• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs

• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Basic Requirements:

• 2+ years of web development experience

• 2+ years back end web experience using one or more languages such as (Java, NodeJS, Go, Python) within Google Cloud environment

• Strong ability in responsive web design and proper front-end & back-end development practices

• Demonstrated experience creating responsive full-stack web application interface per design guidelines and information architecture

Preferred Requirements:

• Knowledge in source code management tools, such as GitHub

• Ability to structure code to make maintenance easier in the future

• Strong ability in responsive web design and proper front-end & back-end development practices

• 2+ years working with SQL or related database technologies
