Previous Experience in Medical Device, Pharma or Biomedical Industry

Experience in Gemba, Kaizen Events

Lean/Six Sigma Certifications, if applicable.

Execute designated Continues Improvement Activities, Projects or Analysis to Improve Efficiency, Process Flow, 5S, Floor Space, among others.

Use of Lean Principles to minimize waste within manufacturing operation among others.

The selection process will consist of a minimum of skills examination and oral interview.

Assist with preparation of reports and studies on current and future water resources and planning projects.

Assist with analysis and tracking of City’s compliance with its water use efficiency and water loss standards.

Research records of existing utilities and related information; may perform design and design calculations for the construction of water facilities projects.

Review and update engineering standard drawings, specifications, and design criteria.

Prepare engineering studies and reports as required.

Manages delivery of contract operations, maintenance, and /or repair services to County owned Water Systems.

Plans, organizes, and coordinates assigned activities relating to the operation, maintenance and preventative maintenance, extensions and improvement of the Water Systems.

Prepares plans, specifications, and estimates for public works construction projects.

Prepares and maintains accurate records, correspondence, technical, and narrative reports relative to a range of water system activities.

Monitors compliance under County water connection agreements; monitors eligibility of Water System water allocations.

Provides information to the public, contractors, engineers, developers, and representatives of other governmental agencies; coordinates activities of contract operators.
