Write automation based engineering proposals at the request of Account Management and the Engineering Manager

Knowledge on data collection along with experience Bus technologies and OPC communication

Specific knowledge of cGMP, batch process control in life science industry with validation experience

Development of Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS), Detailed Design Specifications (DDS), and Test Scripts

Minimum 5 years’ of process automation control systems engineering experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS)

Process control knowledge in our focus industries (life sciences - pharmaceutical/biotech, food and beverage, pulp and paper, and power)

Coordinates with the product departments to ensure the programming will meet their requirements.

Coordinates automation design requirements with process engineers to ensure compliance to customer requirements.

Incorporates specifications and requirements into system design and specifies and requisitions equipment accordingly.

Designs electrical control panels and control systems by applying knowledge of electricity, materials, and instrumentation/control equipment.

Coordinate schedule and budget with the Team Lead - Process Automation and the Project Manager.

Must have a 5+ years of experience in process automation.

Experience with project management and/or capital engineering

Knowledge of local and international regulatory requirements

Manage the delivery of automated systems from concept through to implementation

A minimum of 7 years of experience with industrial robotics, or within a warehouse automation environment

Proven experience in managing automation projects from inception through to completion, preferably in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry

Working knowledge of PLC controls and programming

Desire to learn and apply AI concepts within the organization for benefit and growth.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science/Information Systems or comparable with 5+ years of experience

Knowledge of object-oriented and functional software design

Experience researching, preparing, analyzing, and composing reports, flowcharts, internal controls, documentation, manuals, guidelines, financial data, presentations, and correspondence.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Hands-on experience with Java and frameworks such as Spring Boot

Knowledge of BPM frameworks/products/standards (CMMN, BPMN, DMN)

Experience with microservices and distributed system architectures

Experience in designing distributed software solutions that leverage cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes)
