Utility Specialist Jobs

Vegetation Management Expertise: Extensive knowledge of vegetation management practices, including trimming, pruning, and clearance activities near utility infrastructure.

4-year degree in Forestry, Arboriculture, Environmental Studies, GIS or related disciplines

Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using technology and geospatial tools for data analysis, map interpretation, and reporting.

Partners with Product Management for partner-related offerings which are managed outside the NPI flow.

Strong experience with typical project management tools to ensure assigned project(s) remain on schedule

Initiates and sustains cross-functional relationships with Product Management, Technologies PMO, engagement, and direct connection with NPI gate flow.

Track and drive open issues to resolution independently or via other company resources and manage customer expectations appropriately.

Communicates with ease up and down an organization, with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys, etc.)

Good organizational and time management skills to maximize completed work and prioritization

HIGHEST LEVEL OF COMPLETED EDUCATION

Three or more years of experience working in Vegetation Management.

Experience in directly performing or supervising Vegetation Management activities.

Oversight of contract tree crews for work management.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power Point and Work Management Systems.

Certification as an arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture.

Knowledge of CPUC GO 95 Rule 35, PRC 4292 & 4293 and environmental habitat areas.
