2+ years' experience as a graphic designer in a corporate environment.

Assist with keyword messaging, and manage and upload images into GCU’s digital asset management system.

Assist with management of photo management system.

Performs administrative duties including deadline management, proper organization and archiving of files, completes job logs and follows paperwork process accurately.

A combination of experience and education may be substituted upon supervisor’s approval.

Assess requirements for project completion and make necessary requests for missing images or content from project team.

Revise ads as required through the proofing process, checking for missing elements, re-arranging copy blocks and other ad elements as needed.

Effective writing, editing and communication skills

1-3 years of work experience in graphic design, and/or a related field

Proven ability to uphold brand and style guidelines. (Experience working for major brands is a plus.)

Up-to-date experience with web protocols, standards, and technologies. (Understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus.)

Assist with graphic design and layout for monthly SEVEN guide

Adjust designs to fit project needs and project lead’s input and feedback

Evaluates development proposals to identify compliance with District of Columbia Zoning Regulations;

Participates in conceptual design and construction documents reviews of design documents developed by professional consultants;

Prepares site layouts as well as land subdivision plans for residential and mix-use developments;
