Performs operational responsibilities, such as auditing, ITM/ATM maintenance, cash management, and vault maintenance.

Manages and maintains member records and follows guidelines to ensure proper system management.

Responsibilities and Daily Job Duties

Uncovers members’ financial needs and offers appropriate recommendations.

Supervises and educates members on using all electronic service delivery channels offered both in the branch and through their personal devices.

Minimum of two years experience in service delivery, with preferred cash handling experience .

Requires previous banking and/or sales experience.

Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Strong sales and customer service skills

Universal Banker Salary & Benefits:

Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:15pm; Saturdays 8:30am-12:30pm. Hours may vary.

Knowledge of federal regulation, banking guidelines, banking operations, products and services, acquired through related work experience is preferred.

Delivering an exceptional client service experience while servicing clients with a full range of banking products and services.

Demonstrated banking/financial services related experience

Strong client service skills, problem solving, and organizational skills are required to identify, research and/or resolve requests.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Supports and models Tech CU privacy and security policies. May conduct daily close-out procedures in absence of branch management.

Adheres to all applicable compliance and regulatory requirements.

Opens/processes new member accounts, loan applications, and referrals. Honors commitments to members, ensures member satisfaction, and proactively offers additional products/services.

Facilitates/coaches the staff in targeted skill-building programs/courses supporting the development of Retail Bank employees.

Provides subject matter expertise on topics/programs that originate from Tech CU’s Learning & Development Department. Models desired behaviors/skills from development programs.

Meets with manager on a regular basis to discuss goal alignment, performance metrics, and development plans.

Above average verbal and written communications skills preferred.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Teller and or Customer Service experience required.

Verifies accuracy of monetary transaction by employing basic math skills and utilization of a calculator.

Proficient with the use of a Personal Computer.

High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
