EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: A high school degree or equivalent.

Prepares and compiles new member application and information to open new accounts. Ensures signature cards are complete.

Answers and routes telephone calls, takes messages, provides information and directs calls to appropriate staff as necessary.

Identifies customer’s financial needs through in-person efforts, cold calls, referrals, and marketing, while providing strong product knowledge and quality service excellence.

Displays knowledge and proficiency in explaining, selling, and administering products; refers customers to appropriate resources within the organization.

Maintains consistent compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements, banking regulations, and bank policies and procedures related to the position.

Preferred 6+ months prior bank experience performing teller or personal banker duties; or 1 year cash handling or customer service experience.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:15am - 5:15pm

Preferred Education, Experience, Technical Knowledge and Skills:

Must have at least six months to one year cash handling experience.

Additionally usually 2 years of sales or service experience.

Customer service and problem solving in all aspects of teller operations as needed.

Responsible for selling a full range of retail deposit products and banking services to customers and prospective customers.

Maintains a portfolio of existing customers for cross selling of bank services.

Facilitating customer awareness and education of bank services, including digital banking capabilities

Communication Skills - Interpersonal: Comfortable and confident with proactively engaging in conversation

Customer Service Skills: Demonstrates professionalism and empathy in customer interactions

High School Diploma or GED and 6 months customer service experience

Preferred Area of Experience: Sales and/or Retail Banking

Adaptability: Has the ability to learn and adapt quickly to new information and technology
