Overview The Treasurer is responsible for managing the financial resources of an organization. This includes overseeing the budget, investments, and cash flow. The Treasurer is also responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies, policies, and procedures. Detailed Job Description The Treasurer is responsible for managing the financial resources of an organization. This includes overseeing the budget, investments, and cash flow. The Treasurer is also responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies, policies, and procedures. The Treasurer will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and other senior management to ensure the organization’s financial health.The Treasurer will be responsible for:
• Developing and implementing financial strategies, policies, and procedures
• Overseeing the budget, investments, and cash flow
• Monitoring financial performance and making recommendations for improvement
• Preparing financial reports and statements
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Developing and maintaining relationships with financial institutions
