Understand and be familiar with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) guidelines.

Receive and process member transactions including: loan payments, deposits and withdrawals, transfers, money orders, and U.S. Savings Bonds.

Actively cross-sell credit union products and services to current, new and potential members through direct and outbound efforts.

Actively refer loan opportunities for current, new and potential members to Loan Advisors.

Assist members over the phone.

Addresses customer questions and resolves complaints through a combination of telephone service, computer data entry, billing, balancing and reconciling customer payments.

Maintains appropriate records, prepares requested reports and performs related word processing, data entry and/or clerical duties.

Participates in training related to customer service work processes, procedures, skills and safety to ensure optimum customer service.

Six months related experience and/or training.

Develops strategies to effectively manage current and future challenges and opportunities; develops recommendations and actionable plans.

Demonstrates ability to use computers and technology capabilities.

Process enrollment with accurate data entry into the benefit administration system via phone enrollment or application form

Educate members on eligibility requirements, covered/uncovered services, plan options and benefits, and best healthcare practices

2+ years of customer service experience in the healthcare, preferably in benefits administration; 2+ years of call center experience

Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels of business, including effectively communicating with peers, leads, managers, executives, and external partners

Must demonstrate effective time-management, punctuality and ability to meet deadlines

Knowledge of the Fund’s benefit administration system (basys)

Independently applying program knowledge to screen for services and assist individuals and determine their needs or the purpose of their visit.

Answering a business telephone using knowledge of business telephone procedures and etiquette.

Knowledge of using database software to store, retrieve, and compile information in a report format.

Providing support to the Graduate College admission and degree processing staff.

Questioning customers to obtain detailed information in a business setting.

Independently handling complaints and upset individuals in a business setting.

Analyzes various transportation scenarios to determine the optimal service provider which meet the needs and care requirements of our member.

Customer service and scheduling experience preferred.

Excellent oral, verbal, and written communication skills.

Exceptional customer service, planning and organizational skills required.

PC skills including data base entry and Microsoft Office required.

Potential Hybrid Position (Partial Work From Home)

Two (2) years technical experience and/or technical education related to renewable energy systems.

Complete daily and monthly reporting requirements.

Rotational position travel in 4 week intervals away from home while returning for a week off.

Experience in multiple platforms strongly preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience in the use of Microsoft Office products.

(Preference will be given to candidates who, demonstrate some or all of the following skills/experience):

High school diploma or GED and one (1) year of experience in a customer service call center setting communicating information.

Superior listening, verbal, and written communication skills

High school diploma or GED AND Six months of experience handling customer's questions, complaints and/or providing information.

May resolve complicated issues involving customer service and/or researches governing policies, procedures or laws to respond to clients or visitors.

Answers inquiries by clarifying desired information; researching, locating, and providing information.

2-3 years experience in Call Center and Customer Service. Preferably banking/financial background experience

Must be able to work shift: 10:40AM to 07:00PM (EST Time)

Must be able to work shift: 11:00am-1:00am (EST Time)

Demonstrate the ability and professionalism to interact with key management staff and clients both on the phone and in person.

Develop knowledge of standard credit union operation & credit union terms

Develop efficient navigation skills through credit union websites & the ROE

Develop knowledge of CU*BASE Loan Application Processing

Develop knowledge to provide daily support to Web Chat for both credit union and third-party accounts

Develop knowledge to provide daily support to electronic Bill Pay Systems as needed

Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.

Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers, exceeding the member’s expectations.

Greet members, prospective members and guests, providing exceptional customer service.

Handle all front desk related activities including:

Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions.

Check members into the system.

Maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of all credit union products and services to deepen member relationships.

Ideally a minimum of one to three years of similar or related experience.

Cash handling: 1 year (Preferred)

Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

Proactively and efficiently resolve issues/problems with member accounts.

A high school degree or equivalent
