Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple responsibilities, including practice planning, travel logistics, and recruiting efforts.

An offer of employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background screening.

Assist with the administration of the baseball program as determined by the head coach.

Assist with adherence to the program’s operational and recruitment budget.

Understand and follow the rules, regulations and protocol of the University, GLVC and the NCAA.

A strong understanding of the game of baseball, including rules, regulations, and tactical aspects.

May coach/manage a designated skill development area or group of positions.

Competent knowledge of sport specific techniques, skill development and game planning.

Coach/instruct team members individually, and in groups, and demonstrate sport related skills and techniques.

Evaluates individual player skill performance and provide instruction in areas of deficiency as required.

Reviews video to evaluate skills and determine needed areas of development.

Teaches classes in the elective Physical Education program.

Experience/Knowledge of NJCAA and NCAA Baseball rules and regulations

Experience/Knowledge of NJCAA Compliance and Eligibility rules and regulations

3 years of collegiate coaching experience

Experience maintaining a baseball field

Knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local laws, rules, and regulations;

Knowledge of program development principles and practices;

Has previous successful coaching experience in assigned sport. (Major sports)

Has knowledge of existing system, state and league regulations; implements same consistently and

Established the fundamental philosophy, skills and techniques to be taught by staff. Designs

Assists the athletic director in scheduling, providing transportation and requirements for tournament

Provides documentation to fulfill state and system requirements concerning physical examinations,

Directs student managers, assistants and statisticians.
