Veterinarian for Military Working Dog Trauma Registry Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

Excellent organizational and documentation skills, to include time management.

Veterinarian for Military Working Dog Trauma Registry Responsibilities Include:

Maintain accurate records of all specimens examined and collected.

Update and maintain the Military Working Dog Trauma Registry.

Must have 3-5 years of Cancer Registry Experience. Can complete Complex Abstracts within 90 min.

• Demonstrates complete technical knowledge of all areas of the Cancer Registry, i.e., State of California reporting

requirements, ACoS requirements, SEER staging, TNM staging, Patient Care Evaluation (PCE), data collection and patient

• Must have a thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.

• Familiarity with and knowledge of computers, i.e., CNExT, spreadsheet and word processing programs.

• A knowledge of general principles of statistical computation is mandatory.

At least 1 year of automotive registry experience preferred

Prior automotive industry experience preferred (but willing to train the right person)

Proficient communication and organization skills

Processing all new and used vehicle titles and registration in the state in which they will be titled

Submitting all legal transfer work to the DMV

Verifying that funds have been collected

1 year of previous job-related experience

Distributes visitor passes and ID badges to Vendors.

May provide assistance in the parking lot or turn-around with a wheelchair.

Keeps the visitor pass cart filled and organized.

Empties the return visitor pass bin when full and cleans visitor pass clips.

Conforms to the established Standards of Conduct and Behavior.

Partners with Social Services to provide education to staff on Advance Directives during weekend shifts.

Demonstrates respect for the boundaries, theology, and faith experience of patients, their families and staff

Partners with community clergy concerning patient and family religious needs.

Maintains cooperative working relationships with other Hospital departmental personnel to gather and exchange information regarding patients’ emotional, spiritual, and religious needs.

Preferred: Associates degree in Health Information Management or related health care field.

Performs ongoing identification of all reportable cancer cases, which meet current state and ACoS reporting requirements.

Knowledge of Protected Health Information (PHI), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Preferred: Two years’ experience in a health care setting, experience with Epic EMR.

Strong team working and collaborative skills.

Ability to manage facilitation and consensus building among health care professionals and agencies and achieve expected results.

Remote Registry Technicians must have high speed internet access and experience with remote access, set-up, and troubleshooting technical issues.

Excellent office skills with knowledge and use of computers and software applications.

Prepare productivity reports as requested by Team Leader/Cancer Registry Manager.

Minimum requirements - high school graduate, associate or college degree preferred.

Medical records experience preferred, any work experience in the oncology field a plus.

Experience with Microsoft Office preferred – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsible for developing/maintaining policies and procedures for time management, supply management, productivity and accuracy of practice.

Coordinates, promotes and participates in community cancer education and outreach.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding, SEER, AJCC staging schemes, anatomy and physiology, cancer disease process and treatment trends.

Assists the director in evaluating the registry staff.

Ensures compliance with the American College of Surgeons standards for accreditation of the cancer program.

Perform Mammography Department clerical duties:

Responds to transport requests with a sense of urgency, meeting time delivery goals.

Ensures patient safety by following established procedures and using only approved rolling equipment.

Follows department protocols using dispatch system appropriately.

Maintains patient’s chart during transport and ensures confidentiality of patient information at all
