Must have 3-5 years of Cancer Registry Experience. Can complete Complex Abstracts within 90 min.
• Demonstrates complete technical knowledge of all areas of the Cancer Registry, i.e., State of California reporting
requirements, ACoS requirements, SEER staging, TNM staging, Patient Care Evaluation (PCE), data collection and patient
follow-up.
• Must have a thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Familiarity with and knowledge of computers, i.e., CNExT, spreadsheet and word processing programs.
• A knowledge of general principles of statistical computation is mandatory.
• Must be a Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) or CTR eligible. If CTR eligible, employee must pass the CTR exam within 6 months of employment at PIH Health.
