Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities To Include (but Not Limited To)

Desire to gain experience in traffic engineering.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

Perform tasks related to traffic capacity analysis, signal timing, signal warrants, and corridor safety studies.

Development of plans, specifications, analyses, evaluations, maps, procedures, and reports.

Review of analytical data and quality assurance documents and processes, conduct site work as required

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience with coding and data analysis preferred

Interest and/or experience in economic analysis preferred

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in urban planning, transportation engineering or related field

Interest in the field of transportation planning/engineering

Proficiency in GIS and/or Excel

Excellent written and verbal communication skills,

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite,

Experience with ArcGIS (preferably including Network Analyst, Spatial Analyst, and ArcGIS Online),

Candidates should meet the following requirements:

Conducting site visits, field observations, and data collection,

Performing traffic and transportation analyses,

Assist in management of Transportation Planning Studies

College experience in a related field

Must have strong interpersonal skills

Must have social media experience and be a strong writer

May be required to help with Mobilize the MAGIC City project as needed.

Wayfinding signage - develop a program to get donations for implementation of the wayfinding signage plan.

Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment.

Gain exposure to diverse project experiences as we provide services to both the public and private sectors.

Technical support for Traffic Impact Studies

Crash analyses and traffic safety evaluations

Traffic signal retiming and operational assessments

Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards.

Perform specific portions of a broader assignment of an experienced planner/engineer/inspector.

Field observations to expand experience.

Strong organizational skills are required; ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast paced environment.

Perform standard computations or basic analysis.

12+ years related experience as a Transportation Planner including experience as a Project/Task Manager for transportation planning projects.

Manage a portfolio of complex planning projects ensuring quality, schedule and budget goals are met.

Actively engage on planning projects providing consulting services as a subject matter expert, project manager or task lead.

3+ Year demonstrated experience in Business Development.

Experience working in AEC industry.

Transportation Planning Lead – $110,000 - $140,000 + Benefits – Atlanta

Assists project team members with various support tasks.

Conducts basic research and data collection.

Maintains records, collections and files related to specific projects.

Assist in the development of graphics, presentation materials and reports.

Enrolled in a related undergraduate or graduate program

2+ years of professional experience

Available to work fully onsite (this is not a remote position)

Identify, quantify, and launch labor efficiency improvement initiatives

Market Growth Modeling: Use relevant data to forecast short and long-term demand by market to inform Tesla’s Real Estate Strategy

Identify, quantify, and launch market share growth initiatives

Pricing Strategy Modeling: Use relevant data to recommend vehicle prices

Ability to remain flexible and thrive in an independent and dynamic environment with good time management skills

Interest and/or experience in a related field of study, or relevant work experience

Good writing skills and comfort with public communications

Project Evaluations, including before/after studies of implemented projects; data analysis of traffic counts or Bluebikes

Other projects as directed and feasible

Organizing meetings and events such as reserving and confirming meeting locations and assisting in preparation of meeting materials

Strong time and project management skills, including prioritization and multi-tasking ability;

Knowledge and experience with databases;

Other job duties as assigned.
