How To Become an Tire Technicians: To become a Tire Technician, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent. You may also need to complete a vocational training program in automotive technology or a related field. Additionally, you must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a background check. Tire Technicians Skills: Tire Technicians must have strong mechanical and problem-solving skills. They must be able to identify and diagnose tire-related problems and be knowledgeable in the use of tools and equipment. They must also have good customer service skills and be able to communicate effectively with customers. Tire Technicians Knowledge: Tire Technicians must have a thorough knowledge of tires, including their construction, maintenance, and repair. They must also be familiar with the different types of tires and their uses.
