A High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) is required

6+ years’ experience involving technology troubleshooting, repairs and/or other relevant technical experience.

Advanced experience troubleshooting, ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Thorough experience of wiring color code and fabrication of data cabling

$32.00 - $38.00 per hour (depending on level of matching experience)

Successful completion and passing score of all mandatory company certifications are required

Works autonomously on work sites under general direction of supervisor

Executes manual labor tasks including loading, lifting and transporting materials in a safe manner

Performs other related duties as required and assigned

Valid Drivers License is required

Clearance of background and drug screen is required

Work with Project Coordinator and Account Manager programming and implementing new installs, upgrades, changes, and moves

Respond to customers’ service calls remotely from McEnroe Voice & Data offices

Avaya experience is a plus.

Respond to customers’ service calls on-site in the Baltimore/DC area, with courtesy and professionalism

Track, log, and close service calls in company’s system accurately, and according to billing policies

3 or more years demonstrated skills in a high tech environment, emphasizing skills in computer hardware maintenance, software management, and networking

Track and manage inmate inquiries (grievances), complaints and responses

Manage paperwork associated with RMAs for spare parts used in system maintenance

Report generation to meet facility requirements

Add and maintain PIN Number Investigations

Assist facility investigative personnel with reporting needs & tasks

Serve as a positive Ambassador representative for ViaPath when meeting with customers and clients – clearly demonstrating “Service Excellence”

Experience with vendor selection processes including RFI and RFP issuance and response management.

Lead the practice team for developing and promoting new offerings across Next Gen Network Lifecycle

Collaborate with Account teams, competency teams and business partners to understand and analyze business requirements and processes and recommend solutions.

Suggest technical solutions to meet business requirements efficiently with greater reusability and long-term vision.

Demonstrate strong personal communication and presentation skills to establish interest, credibility, and trust.

At least 15 years of experience in building / supporting solutions for Telecom customers in network domain.

College Courses in Construction Management, Engineering, etc. preferred

A high school diploma or GED is the preferred minimum formal education for this position.

CPR, First Aid Certification required; OSHA 30-hour Certification and EM-385 preferred; Training can be provided.

AND WILL FOLLOW DAVIS BACON PREVAILING WAGE REQUIREMENTS, WHICH VARY FROM MILITARY BASE TO MILITARY BASE.

Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet, etc.) preferred. Training can be provided.

Specific software literacy (Primavera 3/6, Viewpoint, BIM, Revit) preferred. Training can be provided.

2+ years proven experience in the splicing, testing, installation, maintenance and repair of fiber optic networks and/or outside fiber plant

Prior experience using telecom splicing and testing equipment (preferred)

Responsibilities of this position include:

Work with clients on their telephony needs

Review, repair and maintain telephone systems in accordance with company standards

Program call queues, voicemail, and other software related telecommunications functions

Job level commensurate with experience and skill level.

Apply problem solving skills and break down complex problems to isolate outages and restore services.

Schedule each work day for optimum efficiency for the greatest benefit to Kinder Morgan, and work with limited supervision.

Speak clearly, both in person and by telephone, using a high level of verbal skills, and listen carefully.

A minimum of four years experience actively working in electronic technology or telecommunications may be accepted as a degree substitute.

Solid training in electronics or a thorough understanding of telecommunications through work experiences.
