Network/Telecom Systems Technician A1-It

The telecommunications technician is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting and repair of a wide range of telephony equipment. You will be responsible for providing technical support services to customers across the healthcare organization. The person in this position will need to have basic computer skills and an understanding of network connectivity issues. This could include installing, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting voice and data telecommunications network circuits and equipment. This may involve working with customer orders, plans, manuals, and technical specifications, as well as ordering and gathering equipment, supplies, materials, and tools. A telecommunications technician may also service and install phones and fax machines, run diagnostic tests and create reports for new and existing systems.

Local travel is required for this position to service the entire healthcare system across several counties (should not be any overnight travel).

Responsibilities of this position include:

• Review, repair and maintain telephone systems in accordance with company standards
• Work with clients on their telephony needs
• Provide support on projects
• Program and install telephones
• Program call queues, voicemail, and other software related telecommunications functions
