Strong organizational skills as evidenced by exceptional time and task management

Hourly rate $22 - $26/hr. Depending on experience.

Unyielding optimism that children can perform at or above grade level regardless of where they may be starting their educational journey.

Minimum of one year working in urban education and/or with a diverse student population.

Excellent verbal and written skills.

Ability to work in person/in the school building. This is not remote/telecommuting role.

Regularly assist with student health, including administration of first aid

Provides support to homeroom teachers to include assigned clerical duties, grading, making copies, filing papers, changing bulletin boards, etc.

May serve in a substitute role when necessary Support the school’s mission through fidelity to policies and practices

Work cooperatively with school staff and administration

Experience offering workshops/coaching to teachers.

Effectively manage a Savvas curriculum classroom, technology integration and devices.

Experience with classroom-based technology integration.

Strong collaboration and team building skills.

Knowledge of standards-based reform, curriculum, instruction, and assessment.

Excellent ability to present content to large and small groups (effective presentation skills).
