Pre K Teacher Certified Jobs in Georgia

Must meet state licensing requirements for education and experience

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education required

Previous experience working as a teacher at a licensed childcare center

Implement the Georgia Pre-K curriculum to prepare our children for success in kindergarten

Prepare lesson plans and instruct children in age-appropriate activities, according to the Georgia Pre-K curriculum

Experience working with young children in a childcare or school setting preferred

CPR/AED Certification appropriate to age group highly desirable

First Aid Certification highly desirable

Assist in maintaining a safe, clean and fun environment for young children

Supervise students and ensure student safety and well-being

Interact with students in a manner which is appropriate to their developmental level, being fair, consistent and professional at all times

Actively engage in activities; manage cleanliness, maintenance, and availability of classroom materials.

Help ensure smooth, daily transition from home to child care center.

Must have CDA, TCC, or Associates related to Education

Minimum of 2-3 years of professional child care experience.

Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.

Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Attends and actively participates in staff meetings;

Implementing a pro-active, consistent, and effective classroom management system

Georgia certification in appropriate field of education

Knowledge of and experience implementing various instructional and teaching methodologies
