Pre K Teacher Certified Jobs in Alabama

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Skills in positive communication with parents, students, and staff

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Ability to plan and implement age and developmentally appropriate activities for pre-k students.

Ability to exercise patience with students, staff, and parents.

Work with after school care (ASC) staff to provide continuity to maximize benefits for the children and further their spiritual development.

Meet all regulations and requirements as laid out in the operations and staff manuals.

Understand and implement Foundations’ philosophy by following established policies.

Create schedules and routines to ensure children have predictable structure.

Observe children to evaluate and record their progress [documented daily via TS Gold].

Maintain up-to-date records to document the progress and growth of each student.

Learns and maintains knowledge of policies

Daily attendance and punctuality are required for ensuring that program goals are met

Assists pre-kindergarten students individually or in groups with lesson assignments for the purpose of presenting and/or reinforcing learning concepts

Implements, under the supervision of the teacher, the instructional program and lesson plans

Monitors individual students, classroom, library, playground activities, etc. to ensure a safe and positive learning environment

Performs routine record keeping and reports and clerical functions

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Learns and maintains knowledge of policies

Knowledge of safety rules in the work place

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Daily attendance and punctuality are required for ensuring that program goals are met

Assists pre-kindergarten students individually or in groups with lesson assignments for the purpose of presenting and/orreinforcing learning concepts
